Dictivo ("we", "our", or "the app") is a language-learning application for Android. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Dictivo.
Dictivo requests microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO) solely for pronunciation practice exercises. Audio is recorded only when you actively tap the microphone button. Recordings are sent to our server for evaluation and are not stored permanently or used for any purpose other than providing pronunciation feedback.
Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including DynamoDB and S3, with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito with industry-standard security practices.

We retain your account and progress data as long as your account is active. Audio recordings used for pronunciation evaluation are processed in real time and not retained beyond the evaluation session. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account).
Dictivo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
